Minister: Turkey continues efforts for grain deal revival

ANKARA, Oct 13 (PRIME) -- Turkey continues persistent efforts to resume grain deal, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler said on Friday.

"The Black Sea Grain Initiative was discontinued in spite of our active efforts for its prolongation, but our persistent efforts for its revival, in particular, on behalf of the president (Recep Tayyip Erdogan), continue," the minister said.

Moscow left the deal on July 18, 2023. President Vladimir Putin said in August that Russia was ready to return to it in case of switching the Russian Agricultural Bank to SWIFT.
